Calling all little engineers you are invited to take a 25-minute train ride with Thomas the Tank Engine! This fun-filled family experience includes photos with Thomas and Sir Topham Hatt, wooden play tables, maze, jump station, bubble station, temporary tattoos, storytelling, videos, live music and hands-on fun in the Imagination Station and much more! Purchase delicious food from vendors on site, or bring your own picnic! You'll find commemorative Thomas & Friends activities, Shop Thomas merchandise and giveaways available ONLY at this Day Out with Thomas event.

What is Day Out With Thomas™?

Day Out with Thomas is a family event that offers children and their grownups the opportunity to ride with classic story book friend Thomas the Tank Engine at heritage railroads nationwide. Parents, grandparents and siblings join their aspiring engineers in the fun. The Day Out with Thomas experience will engineer miles of smiles for the whole family and introduce a new generation to the timeless excitement of railroading.
