Iron Bert the diesel engine from Thomas & Friends

Iron Bert is a diesel engine who with his brother Iron 'Arry work together in the scrap yards and smelters sheds of Sodor Ironworks. Both brothers are colored dark green with yellow hazard strips and are marked with the words Sodor Ironworks on both sides of their bodies.

You can tell Bert from Arry because Bert has a beard! Iron Bert enjoys breaking up old steam engines too.

Trivia

Iron 'Arry is modeled after a British Class 08 diesel electric shunter. On Sodor they have earned the reputation as "The Grim Messengers of Doom".
