Charlie the purple engine from Thomas & Friends

Charlie is a purple engine who is small and playful from the Mainland. He always likes to have fun and is always ready for an adventure. He is a very helpful engine who can be somewhat mischievous. Charlie wears the number 14 and was the controller's favorite on the mainland railway.

Charlie was first introduced in Season 13 in the story called Play Time. Like Billy, Charlie is modeled after the Manning Wardle L Class 0-6-0ST.
